Explore Lake Pleasant at your own pace with a convenient shoreline paddleboard rental—no transporting or inflating equipment required. Check in at the canopy at the end of Desert Tortoise Road, receive a safety briefing and basic paddling instruction, then launch directly from shore. A stable paddleboard, paddle, and US Coast Guard-approved life jacket are included. This experience is suitable for first-time and experienced paddlers. Rentals are available March through October. Renters must be able to swim and complete a waiver. Park entry is not included.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park entrance fee is $10 per vehicle, payable directly to the park at the entrance gate. Guests with a valid annual park pass are not charged.

Meeting point

Enter through the main entrance of Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Turn right onto south park road and then left onto Desert Tortoise Road. Follow Desert Tortoise road all the way down until you see our booth. Location varies depending on water levels.

What to expect

Check in at our canopy, complete the required waiver, and get fitted with a paddleboard, paddle, and US Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Staff provide basic equipment and safety instruction before launch. Choose a 2-, 4-, or 8-hour rental and explore Lake Pleasant at your own pace. Renters must be able to swim and follow all staff and park safety instructions. Return all equipment to the same shoreline location by the end of the reserved rental period.
