Start your day on the water with the Arise Series—Into the Light, a relaxed guided morning kayak tour at Lake Pleasant near Phoenix. After a safety briefing and basic paddling instruction, follow your guide across calm water toward scenic coves and mountain views while watching for desert birds and other wildlife. The small-group format keeps the pace comfortable and leaves time for photos. Choose the early departure for sunrise colors or the later departure for a peaceful morning paddle. No previous kayaking experience is required, and your kayak, paddle, and life jacket are provided.

Meeting and pickup
Enter Lake Pleasant Regional Park through the main entrance. Pay the $10 per-vehicle fee, turn right on South Park Road, then take the next left onto Desert Tortoise Road. Follow it to the water and look for the AZ Paddle Junkie canopy. Arrive 30 minutes early.
