Leave the noise of Douz behind and let a camel carry you into the silence of the Sahara, at the slow rhythm travellers have crossed these dunes for centuries. In the late afternoon, set off on a two-hour sunset trek across the sand, arriving at a traditional camp just as the sky turns gold. Watch bread being baked the old way, buried in the hot sand, then share a traditional Saharan dinner around the campfire. As night falls, the city light is gone and only stars remain over the dunes. Sleep in your own private desert tent, and at dawn climb back onto your camel for the two-hour ride to Douz, watching the Sahara wake in the sunrise light.

Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from hotels in Douz, or you can meet us at the meeting point. On the day of your tour, our agency will contact you first to arrange your pickup. Your driver-guide will then call you when he arrives at your hotel.
Located in Douz city center on Avenue Taieb Mhiri, directly across the road from the STB Bank. You will see our main agency name sign positioned right above the entrance door and a prominent wind billboard standing directly out front.
