• Longmen Grottoes (Pass by)

  Meet up with your friendly private guide at your hotel in the morning, and drive directly to Xi'an Bei Railway Station to catch the bullet train to Luoyang. After your arrival, your guide will pick you up and head to Longmen Grottoes, This is a stretch along a river where the edge of the river is peppered with carved out spaces that have (or had) statues of Buddha in them. Some are impressive for the detail and some for the size but the experience is taking in the total number of these statues.

  Monastero Shaolin (Shaolin Temple)

  Then continue your tour to Shaolin Temple, a renowned martial arts monastery and the birthplace of kung fu and Zen Buddhism. The entire temple complex boasts stunning scenery and offers a tranquil, serene atmosphere, including the Pagoda Forest. You will hear fascinating stories about its long history. The absolute highlight is watching an authentic Shaolin Kung Fu performance. It is also a remarkable sight to see hundreds of uniformly dressed young students marching to their training grounds. After the tour, return to Xi’an by high-speed train. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
