Meeting with the skipper at the Marina dell'Ancora, in Stintino. The transfer will be made on board a ferry. After the arrival on Asinara island at Fornelli dock, the guide will explain the day's program. The excursion continues to discover the park, its natural treasures, and the structures that still testify to the ancient and recent histories of the island. On board the minivan, you will pass near the former prison of Fornelli, Asinara castle, and Cala Sant'Andrea, located in zone A (forbidden by land and sea to safeguard its fragile ecosystem). The next stop is Cala di Sgombro, where you can admire the rocks, a chosen place to nest different species of waterfowl. Once you arrive in Cala Reale, you'll make another stop at Campo Perdu, where there is a riding school and the famous white and gray donkeys of Asinara island. Consistent with the state of health of the animals, there will be the opportunity to visit the Marine Turtle Recovery Center (CRAMA).

The name of the cove derives from the residence of the royalty of Savoy, who sometimes visited the lazaret next to the bay. Cala Reale, is a wide roadstead that creeps to the center-north of the eastern coast of Asinara. A small harbor and a late 19th-century village stand here. The buildings, once a penal colony, lazaret, hospital and quarantine station, have become the headquarters of the managing body of the Asinara National Park.

A beach framed by a granite promontory, you will be able to bathe in a dreamy natural pool, the only beach in the protected area where it is possible. A visit to Cala Sabina will be an unforgettable experience because of the fine white sand, so soft that it looks like flour, where you will be able to stretch out relaxed, because of the clarity and hue of its waters, which vary between azure, blue and light green, and because of the pristine seabed, so transparent that you will see many friendly fishes that will come close
