Join me for a relaxed 2-hour walk through Krakow’s historic heart, from the medieval Old Town to Wawel Hill — a great introduction to the city for first-time visitors.
Along the way, you’ll discover how Krakow grew from a medieval town into one of Poland’s most important cities, with stories about kings, merchants, students and ordinary Krakowians, as well as local legends and curious details.
We’ll also talk about Krakow today — Polish culture, local customs, food and everyday life — so you can better understand the city during your stay.
By the end, you’ll have a great overview of Krakow, its history and landmarks, plus plenty of ideas for what to see, eat and do next.

Meeting and pickup
Our meeting point is the Battle of Grunwald statue in the central part of Jan Matejko Square
We'll end on the top of the Wawel Castle Hill. After the tour you may easily explore the interiors of the Royal Cathedral and the Royal Castle.
