    Robben Island Museum

Robben Island is a prison where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his 27 years in prison in a tiny cell during the apartheid era. Today, the island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit destination for anyone interested in South African history. Tours to the island begin with multimedia exhibits in the museum at the Nelson Mandela Gateway Victoria and Alfred Waterfront before travelers hop aboard to the island. The boat trip takes about 30 minutes to an hour depending on weather conditions. The tour guide/driver will not be joining you on the boat trip to the island as there will be a tour guide; former political prisoner on the island who will give you a guided tour. Your tour guide/driver will be waiting to welcome you back at the port for further adventures.

    Table Mountain

Table Mountain is Cape Town’s centerpiece. The views of the city and the surrounding area from the top are breath-taking. The mountain offers many hikes and magnificent views in all directions. There are different ways of getting to the top. The easiest and quickest option is to take a cable car. The journey up the mountain takes about ten minutes, giving you spectacular views of the mountain below. If the wind is too strong the cableway won't operate, this may result the trip to be cancelled if the conditions seem unfavorable. The cableway is convenient and fun, however if you want to get a richer experience you can hike up. There are routes up the mountain and are quite steep. The cableway station at the top of the mountain has a curio shop where you can buy snacks and there are restaurants. The tour guide will escort you to the top of the mountain, highlighting interesting things about the mountain.
