If you’re interested in meeting locals to share a drink when you travel, join our snack bar tour, and an expert guide will introduce you to a carefully selected venue where you can drink.
A snack is a small and uniquely Japanese kind of bar where locals go to drink, and enjoy the company of each other.
However, most snacks cater mainly to their regular customers, and can be difficult for travelers to find or even gain entrance to if you’re not a fluent local. That’s where this tour comes in.
Break down barriers of language and culture, and see a side of the real Japan that most visitors miss.
Take a fun quiz to deepen your understanding of Japanese drinking culture. Unlike a typical karaoke, you'll be offered a drink then get you singing along with the whole bar.
As well as visiting a snack with 3 drinks you’ll explore the Shimbashi area a little. Stroll and explore a traditional Japanese local landmark to complete your cultural introduction to the world of the snack.

大阪・曽根崎の中心にある露天神社（通称・お初天神）を訪れます。近松門左衛門の人形浄瑠璃『曽根崎心中』の舞台として知られ、お初と徳兵衛の物語にちなんで、現在では縁結びの神社としても親しまれています。 境内を散策しながら、ガイドが神社の歴史や物語、日本の参拝方法についてご紹介します。都会の繁華街の中に残る歴史ある神社を参拝し、大阪の昔と今が交わる独特の雰囲気を体験できます。

- Snack bars are not modern bars but are in old buildings, resembling a Japanese grandmother’s home. Their nostalgic atmosphere offers warmth and genuine human connections.
- During the tour, our guide may take photos for you. We will share these photos with you as a complimentary gift the following day. Additionally, we may use some of the photos for our promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or do not wish your photos to be used, please kindly let us know in advance.
