We start at Brandy Creek in Conway National Park. The bush walk here is beneath the rainforest canopy surrounded by towering trees, lush greenery and the sounds of the forest. Your friendly and knowledgeable Eco Nature and Savannah Guide along the walk will talk about the local flora, fauna, indigenous stories and plant uses. This adventure is for those who are seeking a nature focused experience and more immersive and engaging.
Next we drive back through Airlie Beach and out to Shute Harbour. Here, the landscape transforms dramatically. This National Park trail winds through dry coastal bush land with gums, grass trees and ancient cycads. The trail then opens up to the turquoise waters of Whitsunday Passage and the entire beach made up of pieces of coral. It is a sight to see and we enjoy time here while we have morning tea.
At Shute Harbour enjoy a couple of stunning lookouts over the Whitsunday Passage and Islands.
