I'm not just a guide who reads from a script. I'm a Chengdu local who has spent 13 years showing people the soul of this city and now work more as a travel route designer. I love to study Chinese culture and hope to build a bridge over culture, nature and foods between China and out of China. For recent a few years, i and our team start to look for precious intangible cultural heritages around Sichuan and Chongqing, we want to introduce the real and interesting cultures to people who are into off-commercial travel experience.

What to expect

Duration: About 8 hours. We'll walk, talk, taste, and relax — at the pace of a local.
This is not a scripted tour. This is a day spent with a Chengdu local who has been guiding travelers from around the world for over 13 years.
Morning – Panda Base
I'll meet you at your hotel at 8:00 AM. We'll head to the Chengdu Panda Base, where you'll watch giant pandas in their morning prime — eating, playing, and napping in the cool air. We'll wander at a relaxed pace, away from the crowds.
Midday – Real Sichuan Flavors
After the pandas, we'll drive to a local restaurant that I eat at — not the ones with English menus and tour-bus parking. You'll taste the real Sichuan: bold, numbing, spicy, and unforgettable. Think mapo tofu that actually tingles and dishes you won't find in any guidebook.
Afternoon – Tea Ceremony at Juan Le Bai Jia (倦了百家)
This is the heart of the experience. We'll escape to Juan Le Bai Jia, a serene tea-Buddhism house hidden in the city — a place where time slows down. Here, You'll sit with a tea master, learn the philosophy behind each steep, and experience a traditional Gongfu tea ceremony. You'll discover why tea in Chengdu is not a drink — it's a way of life.
