A private day in Herzegovina. We leave at 9:00 from your hotel or from Sarajevo City Hall (8:00 from November to March) and follow the Neretva River south, with short stops at the Old Bridge in Konjic and the broken railway bridge in Jablanica, left in the river since the 1943 Battle of the Neretva.
In Mostar your tour leader walks you through the old bazaar to Stari Most, the Ottoman bridge rebuilt in 2004 after the war, and you have free time for lunch. Next is Blagaj, where a dervish house stands under a cliff at the spring of the Buna River, and Počitelj, a walled stone village on the hillside above the Neretva.
The day ends at Kravica Waterfalls, where you can swim in summer. Entrance fees and the private car are included. Your driver is also your tour leader and knows the route and its history well. If you would like a certified local guide in Mostar, let us know after booking (€77 per group).
Our guide/driver will pick you up from any location or address you provide. You will be able to recognize our vehicle by the Balkland logo on it.
Sarajevo City Hall is a famous landmark located in the old town, just before the last station of the tram. There is a small parking area in front of the City Hall where our vehicle will be parked. Our guide will be waiting for you with a Balkland sign to help you get started on your tour.
