Discover the raw beauty of the Vicentine Coast Natural Park on this hike along the Cordoama plateau in Vila do Bispo.

This circular trail of around 10 km offers a unique combination of dramatic cliffs, untouched landscapes, and rich biodiversity.

The route unfolds across a coastal plateau shaped over millions of years, where wind and sea erosion carved ravines and valleys into the cliffs.

Walk through areas of native vegetation, some of which exist only in this corner of southwest Portugal. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic and, depending on the season, observe migratory birds crossing the skies on their journey between Europe and Africa.

This hike is perfect for nature lovers who wish to experience the Algarve’s wilder side — a place of silence, open horizons, and powerful coastal scenery.
