    The day begins with pickup from Cancun and the Riviera Maya in a bus or minibus. During the pickup route, guests will receive a box lunch before continuing toward Bacalar. This first stretch marks the transition from the busier areas of the Mexican Caribbean to the quieter landscapes of southern Quintana Roo, where freshwater, lagoon views, and a more peaceful atmosphere shape the rest of the experience.

    Once in Bacalar, travelers will start the visit with breakfast in town. Joining the group directly in Bacalar, at any attraction included in the itinerary, or from any point outside the authorized service zones is not permitted. For example, meeting the group in Bacalar with your own vehicle is not allowed. However, pickup from a hotel located within the listed coverage area, such as Moon Palace Resort, may be possible. For safety, communication, and proper organization, all travelers must meet our team in the morning at the assigned pickup location, board our transportation, and complete check in before the tour begins.
  • If your reservation does not yet have a confirmed hotel or meeting point, you must send this information to our team no later than the day before the tour. From Monday to Saturday, the cutoff time is 21:50 hrs, GMT minus 5. On Sundays, the cutoff time is 8:00 PM, GMT minus 5. You may provide the details through any of our available contact channels. After this time, last minute pickup arrangements can no longer be made. If the required information is not received on time, the reservation will automatically be moved to the next available date. This change has no cost or penalty, but once the automatic rescheduling applies, the booking is no longer eligible for a refund.
