  Lake Naivasha

  Lake Naivasha is a stunning, freshwater lake nestled in Kenya's Great Rift Valley, located about 90 kilometers from Nairobi. The lake is 1884 meters above the sea level. It is endowed with a dense population of Hippos, a variety of birds and the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary which is located on the eastern side. This private sanctuary offers walking safaris surrounded by free-roaming giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests with no predators. The sanctuary can be accessed by boat.

  Lake Nakuru

  Resting squarely on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and surrounded by the characteristic woody and bushy grassland, her sky mirrored lake waters extending to an expansive mass of semi-alkaline water, Lake Nakuru National Park is a ball of beautiful sights waiting to be explored. A wide ecological diversity, varied wildlife habitats, plant and animal species await the wild outdoor lovers. The park is a uniquely rewarding game-viewing destination and a successful sanctuary for both the endangered black rhinos and white rhinos. Lake Nakuru National park is also the best spot for Flamingoes and other bird species. You’ll find a great number of these engaging birds to gaze on. From the air, and even when you see them from far off, the flamingos color the lake bright pink. There are more than 400 other bird species here. Its home to the endangered Roths child giraffe, predators; the Leopard, the lion, and herbivores like the Buffaloes, Zebras, and antelopes among other plains game.

  Maasai Mara National Reserve

  Maasai Mara National Reserve is a vast scenic expanse of gently rolling African savannah plains measuring 1510 square kilometers in area. It is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for its spectacular natural diversity of wildlife and it is the premier destination in East Africa. Large numbers of Lions, Cheetah, Elephant, African Buffalo, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra and many animals are found here in their natural habitat, unconfined and free to roam. The reserve was voted one of the new Seven Wonders of the World offering more reasons to visit.
