This half-day eco safari combines responsible elephant observation, nature, and local conservation in one easy Khao Lak experience. Guests will visit Khaolak Elephant Sanctuary, where rescued elephants live in a peaceful, animal-welfare-focused environment.
Learn the elephants’ stories and observe their natural behavior from a respectful distance while the sanctuary team explains their daily care, diet, and herbal supplement preparation. This experience does not include elephant riding, feeding, bathing, shows, or direct interaction.
Continue to Sai Rung Waterfall for a short nature stop, where guests can take photos, relax, and enjoy the jungle surroundings. The waterfall visit may be adjusted depending on weather, water level, and local conditions.
The tour also includes a visit to the Sea Turtle Conservation Center to learn about marine rehabilitation and local efforts to protect young and injured turtles. Finish the experience with a Thai lunch before returning to your hotel.

Embark on a 1-hour educational experience where you’ll learn about rescued elephants and the dedicated hill tribe caretakers who support them. Discover how the sanctuary provides lifelong care for elephants retired from tourism and gain insight into the meaningful bond between each mahout and their elephant.
