Your adventure begins at 07:00 AM with a private pickup from your Nairobi accommodation in a fully equipped luxury 4WD Land Cruiser. Your professional English-speaking driver-guide will be with you every step of the way. The scenic 270km drive to the Maasai Mara takes you through the vibrant suburbs of Nairobi before opening up to the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpment, one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes. Stop at the famous Mai Mahiu viewpoint to take in sweeping views stretching across the valley floor. Arrive at Mara Intrepids Camp in time for a leisurely lunch before checking into your luxury tent. Rise before dawn to the sounds of the African bush. With over 95 species of mammals and 400 bird species recorded in the reserve, every turn of the track brings a new discovery. Search for the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino — across the sweeping open grasslands.
