From the Latin Quarter to Saint-Germain, an exploration to learn where and how Joséphine Baker, James Baldwin, the artists of the Harlem Renaissance, and the great jazz musicians, from Sidney Bechet to Louis Armstrong, lived. The walking tour also allows to discuss why Paris was seen as a "refuge city," and to present the great French figures of the intellectual and political movements of decolonization and pan-Africanism.
