Tour Details Enjoy a full-day escape from Mexico City to the spectacular Grutas de Tolantongo, a natural oasis surrounded by the mountains of Hidalgo. The experience begins with round-trip transportation from Mexico City. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours each way, depending on traffic and road conditions, so the total transportation time during the day can be around 6–7 hours. Once at Tolantongo, enjoy free time to explore and relax in the warm thermal pools, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. You will also visit the Tolantongo Cave and steam tunnel, where you can experience the natural thermal waters inside the mountain. For an adventurous touch, cross the suspension bridge and enjoy spectacular views of the canyon and surrounding landscape. Our certified bilingual guide will accompany you throughout the experience and provide assistance during the tour.
