This is followed by a walk through the charming historic old town of Wadowice. The experience also includes a relaxing coffee break and a taste of the famous “papal cream cake” (kremówka) — the traditional dessert that was one of Pope John Paul II’s favorite treats from his hometown.

    A visit to the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Łagiewniki, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Kraków and a global center of devotion to Divine Mercy, associated with Saint Faustina Kowalska. This is a place of prayer, reflection, and spiritual significance for visitors from all over the world. Next to the sanctuary is the Church of Saint John Paul II, part of the “Have No Fear!” Centre, dedicated to the life and legacy of Pope John Paul II. The modern basilica and surrounding complex offer a space for prayer, learning, and remembrance of his message and teachings. The Centre also houses a unique and deeply significant relic — the garment worn by Pope John Paul II during the assassination attempt in 1981.
