What to expect

Join Burcu Arslan, who has her own recipe book, in her home in Fethiye for a warm, hands-on Turkish cooking class. You will start with a friendly welcome and a short introduction to local food culture, then cook together at an easy pace. Burcu has a lovely garden where you'll learn about how she uses herbs and vegetables in her cuisine. You'll even pick some herbs and vegetables to use in your class recipes!

Burcu guides you step by step as you make traditional saç böreği from scratch, including preparing the dough, shaping, and cooking on a griddle, along with traditional mezes, and seasonal dishes made with local wild herbs. When everything is ready, you will set the table and share the meal together in a relaxed, social atmosphere, with time to ask questions and take notes.
