Etna & Taormina – The tour that combines nature and Sicilian beauty

The day begins with a visit to the majestic Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. You will reach the Silvestri Craters, where you can walk among ancient lava flows, breathe the mountain air and admire spectacular views. The cable car is not included, but the visit to the craters already offers a unique and unforgettable experience.

Arrived at the port of messina the meeting with travelers will take place at the exit of the gate. One of our drivers will be there to welcome them with a sign with their name on it. The start and end time of the tour is to be agreed at least 24h in advance based on the arrival and departure of the cruise ship.

2Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna
Departure from the port of Messina. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel (100 km), we will reach Mount Etna. Here you will visit the impressive Silvestri Craters and have time to admire the highest active volcano in Europe and its extraordinary landscape. The cable car excursion is not included in the tour, but you will have time to explore the area freely and take beautiful photographs.

3Taormina
The second stop of our tour, will be the elegant Taormina. We will explore the magnificent old town walking along Corso Umberto, the main street full of elegant boutiques, lively cafes, picturesque alleys and historic buildings that guard the true essence of the city. Here is what to see in Taormina: 1. Ancient Theatre of Taormina: A Greco-Roman amphitheatre with spectacular views of Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea. 2. Isola Bella: A small island connected to the mainland by a thin strip of sand, ideal for walking and snorkeling. 3. Gardens of the Villa Comunale : A public garden with exotic plants and panoramic sea views. 4. Taormina Cathedral: A medieval cathedral located in Piazza Duomo. 6. Belvedere of Piazza IX Aprile : A panoramic point that offers a breathtaking view of the coast and Mount Etna.
