  Then we continue our scenic drive deeper into the Hardanger region, surrounded by increasingly dramatic landscapes of fjords, mountains, and waterfalls, all the way towards Hardangerfjord. We make our way to the charming fjord town of Odda, where we stop for a relaxing lunch break. Odda is a small town beautifully located at the end of the Sørfjord branch of the famous Hardangerfjord. Once an industrial hub surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers, today it is known as a gateway to some of Norway’s most iconic natural attractions, including Folgefonna Glacier and Trolltunga.

  Latefossen Waterfall

  After your unforgettable helicopter experience, we begin the relaxing journey back through the stunning landscapes of Hardanger. On the way, we stop at the iconic Låtefossen, one of Norway’s most famous and photographed waterfalls. This spectacular twin waterfall plunges around 165 meters down the mountainside, where two powerful streams merge and thunder dramatically under a historic stone bridge crossing the valley. Here, you step out to experience the raw force of nature up close — the roar of the water, the mist in the air, and the dramatic scenery of a narrow valley carved by glaciers. The waterfall is located right beside the road, making it an effortless yet unforgettable highlight of the journey. After this final nature stop, the journey continues through the fjords and mountains, bringing the day to a close after an extraordinary combination of helicopter adventure and iconic Norwegian scenery.
