Day 3 | Tortuga Bay – Inter-Island Transfer to Isabela Island

Tortuga Bay Beach
Today you will explore Tortuga Bay, one of the most iconic and beautiful beaches in the Galápagos Islands, located on Santa Cruz Island. The day begins with a scenic 25-minute walk from Puerto Ayora, along a paved trail surrounded by native vegetation and volcanic landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy the pristine white-sand beach and turquoise waters, perfect for a relaxing beach experience in a protected natural setting. Visitors may swim, snorkel, or rent kayaks, while observing marine iguanas resting on the rocks and sand, as well as coastal birds and other endemic wildlife found only in the Galápagos. As Tortuga Bay is a preserved natural area, there are no restaurants or vendors, so we recommend bringing plenty of water and light snacks.

Isabela
In the afternoon, your Galápagos adventure continues with an inter island transfer from Santa Cruz to Isabela Island, allowing you to experience the archipelago from a different perspective. Isabela, the largest island in the Galápagos, is renowned for its dramatic volcanic formations, abundant marine life, and tranquil atmosphere, making it a highlight of any island-hopping itinerary.

Day 4 | Los Túneles Snorkeling Experience – Isabela Island

Los Tuneles
At approximately 11:00 a.m., you will depart by boat to Los Túneles, widely regarded as the top snorkeling site on Isabela Island and one of the most spectacular marine locations in the Galápagos Islands. This extraordinary area is famous for its unique lava formations, crystal-clear waters, and rich underwater ecosystems. During this guided experience, you will snorkel through an impressive 800-meter natural corridor, where water temperatures average around 68°F (20°C), providing ideal conditions for marine exploration. Los Túneles offers outstanding opportunities to observe an incredible variety of wildlife both above and below the surface. You may encounter sea turtles, sea lions, manta rays, Galápagos penguins, marine iguanas, sea snakes, and white tipped reef sharks, while the surrounding cliffs and mangroves are home to abundant birdlife, including blue footed boobies, flamingos, and magnificent frigatebirds.

Very early in the morning, enjoy a box breakfast before departing Isabela Island by scheduled inter-island boat to Santa Cruz. Upon arrival, travel across the island with a scenic stop at Los Gemelos Twin Craters, where you will explore this unique volcanic formation surrounded by lush highland vegetation, before continuing to Baltra Airport, marking the end of your 5-Day Galápagos Tour.
