On a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of Cappadocia's fairy chimneys, learn the traditional art of Turkish coffee — brewed the authentic way, in sand. You'll measure your own coffee, choose your sugar preference, stir it in a cezve (traditional coffee pot), and watch your instructor guide you as you cook it slowly in a bed of hot sand — a technique that's as visual and ritualistic as it is delicious. Once your coffee is ready, sit back and enjoy it while your instructor shares the story and cultural meaning behind Turkish coffee — from hospitality traditions to its role in everyday social life. If you'd like, you can also take part in a fun, optional fortune-telling session, where your coffee grounds are read for symbols and playful interpretations — a lighthearted, social ritual rather than a serious prediction.
