Our first stop is a spiritual landmark perched above the Rusenski Lom river. We will climb the stone stairs to see the cave-churches where monks have lived for centuries. It’s a peaceful start to the day with a great view of the valley.

Next, we head to one of the most spectacular caves in the world. Famous as a filming location for The Expendables 2, this cave is massive and flooded with natural light through its unique ceiling openings. It’s a surreal experience that feels like stepping onto another planet.

We conclude the adventure at the Krushuna Eco-trail. This is a series of cascading waterfalls and natural mineral pools surrounded by vibrant greenery. It’s an easy hike with wooden bridges, perfect for relaxing and taking incredible photos before we head back.
