Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Damaged Train 653 and A Peace Tour

3 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English

Board the Atomic Bomb-Damaged Train at Hiroshima Station. On board, you’ll hear the bell from a train used in the past, and with a souvenir based on a 1940s-style replica ticket in hand, you’ll feel as if you’ve traveled back in time to ride the original atomic bomb-damaged train.
Inside the Atomic Bomb-Damaged Train, you’ll use a tablet to watch videos showing what Hiroshima looked like before and after the atomic bombing.
We’ll guide you through the atomic-bombed buildings that remain in downtown Hiroshima. At the Fukuro-machi Elementary School Peace Museum, we’ll show you traces of the atomic bombing as experienced by elementary school students at the time.
At the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Rest House, interact with local students and learn about the peace activities they’re engaged in.
You’ll receive a “Hiroshima Tabi Pass (2-Day Pass),” which offers unlimited rides on trams, buses, and other public transportation in Hiroshima for two days.
