Meet your guide at the Lion's Head trailhead signboard on Signal Hill Road. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled departure. Roadside parking is available nearby. Please use Google Maps to navigate directly to "Lion's Head Hike Parking"

Your adventure begins at the iconic Lion's Head trailhead, where you'll meet your qualified local mountain guide before setting off on one of Cape Town's most spectacular hikes. If you've selected a transport-inclusive option, you'll be collected from your accommodation within and around the Cape Town City Bowl and transported to the starting point. Before setting off, your guide will provide a friendly introduction, route overview and comprehensive safety briefing. The trail spirals around Lion's Head with a steady climb, leading to the famous chains and ladders before reaching the spectacular summit. Along the way you'll enjoy breathtaking 360° views of Table Mountain, Camps Bay, Clifton, Signal Hill, the Twelve Apostles and the Atlantic Ocean. At the summit, you'll have time to relax, take unforgettable photographs and learn about Cape Town's history, flora and surrounding landmarks before enjoying a safe guided descent back to the trailhead.
