You come to the east port of Korcula and look for the lavander pink Speedboat, you can't miss it.
We begin our journey by cruising past the iconic island of Badija with its 15th century monastery.
Next in our sights is the legendary island of Vrnik famous for its lime stone quarries from which the stone for Korčula,Dubrovnik, Hagia Sofia and Stockholm parlament and many other historic sites and buildings comes from.
As we continue our transit, we'll navigate around the dramatic Peninsula Ražnjic the very eastern tip of the island.
We will pass outside of Vela Pržina the sand beach in Lumbarda. Vela Pržina became the first documented site in Croatia where loggerhead sea turtles nested. Typically they nest in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus. Seeing them in the Adriatic is a major indicator of climate change and shifting habitats.
As we cruise along the southern shore, we pass by the hidden cove of Rasohatica. Famous for its pristine water and dramatic cliffside architecture.
Upon arrival at Pavja Luka, you have approximately 3 hours to enjoy this secluded paradise exactly how you like. Whether you want to sunbathe on the pebbled shore, swim in the turquoise water, or snorkel along the cliffside, the time is yours. For those looking to enjoy a local meal, you may choose to eat at a local Konoba located in the bay. Alternatively, explore the unique natural features of the bay. Just 200m from the main beach is a collapsed cave. it features a miniature beach and that part of the bay is fed by refreshing underwater fresh-water springs. The water near the cave is noticeably cooler than the rest of the bay.
