1Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. Explore landscapes of baobab trees, grassland and the Tarangire River while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave Tarangire and travel to Karatu. Check in at Eileen’s Trees Inn or a similar mid-range lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

2Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Explore the groundwater forest, open plains and lakeshore while looking for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons, hippos and numerous bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing the afternoon game drive. Later, return to Karatu for a relaxed evening, dinner and your second night at Eileen’s Trees Inn or a similar mid-range lodge.

3Serengeti National Park
Leave Karatu after breakfast and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Serengeti National Park. Enter through Naabi Hill Gate and begin game viewing across the open plains on the way to Seronera. Look for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and different antelope species. Continue exploring central Serengeti until the late afternoon. Check in at Kontik Serengeti Camp or a similar mid-range tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

4Serengeti National Park
Begin with an early game drive in central Serengeti, when predators and other wildlife are often active. Explore the Seronera Valley and nearby plains before travelling towards Naabi Hill. After lunch, leave Serengeti and continue into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Drive through open plains and highland scenery before reaching Rhino Lodge or a similar mid-range property near the crater. Check in during the evening, enjoy dinner and prepare for the following morning’s crater game drive.

5Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater. Explore its grasslands, woodland and wetlands while looking for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and black rhinoceroses. Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing the game drive. In the afternoon, ascend the crater wall and begin the return journey to Arusha. The safari ends upon arrival in the early evening.
