1Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. Explore landscapes of ancient baobab trees, grassland and the Tarangire River while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave Tarangire and travel to Karatu. Check in at Eileen’s Trees Inn or a similar mid-range lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

2Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 metres into the crater. Explore its grasslands, woodland and wetlands while looking for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and black rhinoceroses. Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing the game drive. In the afternoon, ascend the crater wall and begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
