  We will begin the mountain experience with the Seceda cableways from Ortisei. As we rise above the village, the valley slowly opens below us and the Dolomites start to feel larger, closer, and more dramatic. The ride is comfortable and scenic, making it the easiest way to reach one of the most iconic viewpoints in the Dolomites. The Seceda cableway tickets are included in the tour price. Once at the top, we will continue with a relaxed panoramic walk through alpine meadows, mountain views, and the famous scenery that makes Seceda one of the most desired places in Val Gardena.

  Seceda

  Once we reach the top of Seceda, we will enjoy one of the most famous viewpoints in the Dolomites. From here, we will see wide alpine meadows, the sharp Odle peaks, including Furchetta, and the famous Seceda ridgeline. Thanks to the cableways, we can reach this high mountain scenery in a comfortable and scenic way. We will stop for photos and short panoramic walks at a relaxed pace, enjoying the views before continuing toward Col Raiser.

  From Seceda, we will enjoy a close view of the Odle peaks, one of the most dramatic mountain groups in the Dolomites. Here the landscape opens into green meadows, small mountain huts, grazing cows, and sharp limestone peaks rising in the background. It is the kind of scenery that feels peaceful at first, then suddenly impressive when you realize how close the mountains are. We will continue with light downhill walks at a relaxed pace, stopping for photos and panoramic views before reaching the Col Raiser area.

  We will continue with a light downhill walk toward Pieralongia, one of the most distinctive spots in the Seceda area. Here, two natural rock towers rise from the green alpine meadows like a small monument shaped by the mountains. Around them, we will see pastures, mountain huts, grazing cows, and wide Dolomite views that make this part of the walk feel peaceful, real, and beautifully local. This is where the tour becomes more than a viewpoint. We will move through the landscape at a relaxed pace, enjoying the kind of scenery that makes Val Gardena feel so special.

  We will stop for lunch at Troier Hütte, a mountain hut surrounded by alpine meadows and Dolomite views. Here, lunch feels like part of the mountain experience. Goats, alpacas, grazing cows, and sometimes a few hens wander nearby, creating a warm alpine scene that feels almost like a small fairy tale. We will enjoy typical mountain food prepared by the hut, with simple local ingredients and dairy products from its own alpine farm when available. Lunch and drinks are not included, so guests can choose what they prefer.

  We will continue toward Col Raiser with a light downhill walk through alpine meadows and open Dolomite views. This part of the route makes the day feel more complete, because we are not returning the same way. The scenery changes as we move from the Seceda side toward another panoramic area of Val Gardena, with mountain huts, pastures, and wide views along the way.

  From Col Raiser, we will take the cable car down after the panoramic walk from Seceda. This is a comfortable and scenic way to descend from the mountain area. As we go down, the wide views over Val Gardena stay with us a little longer, before we continue toward Ortisei for the village visit.

  Ortisei

  After the short transfer, we will visit Ortisei, one of the main villages in Val Gardena. Ortisei is known for its Ladin culture and its centuries-old woodcarving tradition. For generations, local families carved wooden figures, toys, and religious pieces during the long winter months, helping make the village known far beyond the valley. During the visit, we will walk through the village center and see elegant streets, local shops, carved wooden details, churches, cafés, flowered balconies, and views of the surrounding Dolomites. Ortisei feels like a small jewel in the mountains, carefully cared for in every detail, with an atmosphere that is charming, authentic, and almost fairy-tale. After the visit, we will accompany you back to your hotel or agreed drop-off point.
