  We walk about 5min from the meeting point to the motorcycle taxi point, where we usually use this transportation which is the same used by the locals in their daily life, experienced drivers on this route, on average 10min towards the bars located on the top of the Rocinha with beautiful panoramic views.

  Here you will be presented with a panoramic view of 360 degrees: Christ the Redeemer, Tijuca Forest, Sugar Bread, Two Brothers Moor, Beach, the unique view from the top of the largest favela of Latin America.   This experience invites visitors to experience the authentic street capoeira. History of resistance and ancestry of the capoeira (UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) and how the project uses ginge to keep children and young people away from social vulnerability. This is not just a presentation of martial arts, it is a community-based, ethical and transformative tourism opportunity. By participating, you support a project that has already taken the name of Rocinha to several countries in Europe, helping to deconstruct stigmas and valuing the local culture directly The contribution is voluntary at the end of the presentation, part of the amount collected is returned directly to the maintenance of the project, which also offers support classes, English and donation of basic baskets in the community.

  We entered this street and walked between alleys and alleys, immersed in social projects, knowing the reality of the resident in the vibrant daily life of the community. This unique journey promises a deeper understanding of the favelas and their cultures with Local Guide throughout the journey.
