What to expect

This is not a typical Colosseum tour. It’s a slower, more personal way to experience one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks.

If you’re looking for a fast-paced guided tour filled with historical facts, this experience may not be for you. It is designed for travellers who want to step out of the usual tourist rhythm.

Seated in the shade of Oppian Hill Park, with the Colosseum in view, you’ll have time to breathe, observe and notice details that are easy to miss when rushing from one attraction to another.

Using a simple method, you’ll create your own sketch of the Colosseum. No drawing experience is required, and all materials are provided. This is not a traditional drawing class: sketching is simply a tool to help you look more closely and experience the moment with greater attention and curiosity.

The experience is relaxed, personal and limited to a maximum of six participants. It is perfect for curious travellers, couples, families with children or teenagers, solo travellers, creatives and anyone who needs a peaceful break during a busy Rome itinerary.

You’ll take home your sketch as a personal souvenir of the time you slowed down and saw the Colosseum differently.
