This 2-day Sapa experience is designed for travelers who want to see the highlights of the region while still enjoying genuine local encounters and comfortable accommodation. On Day 1, you’ll trek through the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley to Lao Chai and Ta Van, walking along rice terraces and countryside paths as your guide shares insights into the culture and daily life of the ethnic communities living in the mountains.
After your trek, relax in Sapa town with an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel, giving you the perfect balance of adventure and comfort. On Day 2, you’ll visit Vietnam’s most iconic peak experience: Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina.” Ride the Fansipan cable car for panoramic views over the Hoang Lien Son range, then explore the summit area and viewpoints at your own pace. Before returning, stop at Moana Sapa—a popular scenic check-in point—for unforgettable mountain photos.

1Lao Chai
Begin your trekking adventure in Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic minority. Set off on scenic trails winding through spectacular rice terraces and peaceful mountain paths overlooking the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley — one of the most beautiful landscapes in northern Vietnam. Along the way, immerse yourself in the authentic daily life of local ethnic communities. Visit traditional homes, observe farmers working in the terraced fields, and learn about centuries-old farming techniques, handmade textiles, and the unique cultural traditions that have been preserved for generations. Your knowledgeable local guide will share fascinating stories about H’mong culture, history, and lifestyle, giving you a deeper understanding of life in the mountains of Sapa. As you trek through this stunning region, take in panoramic views, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and capture unforgettable photos of Sapa’s iconic rice terraces and valleys.

2Ta Van Village
Continue trekking to Ta Van Village, home of the Giay ethnic people. Travelers will walk through peaceful countryside paths, cross small bridges, and visit a local house to learn about traditional village life. This area offers beautiful views of rice fields and a quieter atmosphere compared to Sapa town.

3Fansipan Hiking Trips
On the second day, journey to the legendary Fansipan Peak, famously known as “The Roof of Indochina” and the highest mountain in Vietnam at 3,143 meters above sea level. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride ascending above lush valleys and rolling mountains to reach the summit area. From the top, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range, often floating above a sea of clouds. Explore the impressive spiritual complex featuring pagodas, giant Buddha statues, and sacred landmarks. You’ll also have free time to walk around the peak, capture unforgettable photos, and fully experience the atmosphere of Vietnam’s most iconic mountain destination.
