    Tan Dinh Church

Start your morning in the heart of Saigon at the iconic Tan Dinh Church, affectionately known as the “Pink Church.” Built in 1870 during the French colonial era, this vibrant salmon-pink landmark blends Romanesque and Gothic architecture with local charm. Its twin bell towers and ornate details make it one of the most photogenic spots in District 1. As you stand in front of this historic Catholic church, Linh and Jesse share stories of how faith, culture, and daily life intertwine in modern Vietnam. Early morning brings a peaceful atmosphere — locals lighting incense, street vendors setting up, and the soft light hitting the pink façade. It’s the perfect gentle introduction to Saigon’s layered history before diving into its world-famous coffee culture. This stop offers beautiful photo opportunities and a moment of calm before the flavorful journey begins.
