The Palace of Phaistos is the second largest archaeological site and Minoan Palace in Crete, right behind the Minoan Palace of Knossos.
We start our private guided tour from Chania where our experienced driver and tourist guide pick you up for free from your designated area: Α refreshing breakfast stop is being done, while we pass through some villages of mainland Chania that are worth seeing.
Ongoing, we approach the famous beach shore village of Agia Galini and the region of Messara. Our guide will show you the highlights of one of the biggest palaces of the Minoan civilisation in Crete.
After the tour of the archaeological site, this private full-day tour to Phaistos from Chania takes you to the romantic hippie beach shore of Matala where we will eat our lunch, have an opportunity for a rewarding swim, or stroll the picturesque alleys of the famous village, before embarking our private car to return to Chania, where we started our private transfer early in the morning.
