What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Your activity starts in the mountain village at around 09AM. You will be picked up to ensure that you reach the start of the activities on time. The pick-up time depends on the distance of your hotel/homestay from us. Transfer time varies from 45 to 120 minutes, depending on your location. Your transfer will start around 07:00 am. The detailed information about the exact time will be provided with your booking information.
What to expect
Be warmly welcomed and stroll through the lush garden of colorful blossoms and tropical herbs and spices, and listen to the soft tunes of the bamboo instrument called Rindik.
The highlight of your day is a purification ceremony at a hidden jungle temple beside a tranquil river. Dressed in Balinese temple clothes, you prepare offerings of flowers and incense with the Mangku, the local priest, and take part in a deeply moving ritual of cleansing and blessing—an authentic spiritual experience rarely shared with visitors.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious homemade Balinese lunch at our authentic village Warung, then join a farmer in planting rice and meet the friendly animals at the Balikaru farm. Learn about stingless Trigona bees and taste their rare, healthy honey.
End the day with a peaceful walk through the picturesque mountain village and a stop at Air Terjun Pengempu, a hidden waterfall.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon, carrying with you the quiet magic of Bali’s mountains and the warmth of its people.
