Your adventure begins one hour after your cruise ship arrives in Costa Maya, with an approximately one-hour ride through the southern Yucatán countryside toward Chacchoben, an ancient Maya city hidden in the tropical jungle. Explore Chacchoben Mayan Ruins with your guide, walking beneath the jungle canopy as you discover impressive temples, ceremonial plazas, and structures dating back to around 200 BC. Learn about the people who once lived here, their traditions, and the history behind this remarkable Maya city while keeping an eye out for spider monkeys and tropical birds in the surrounding jungle.
