You’ll enjoy an exciting 1-hour quad bike ride through the stunning palm groves of Marrakech, followed by a peaceful 1-hour camel ride surrounded by beautiful landscapes and traditional Berber villages. Day 1: Atlas Mountains Hiking Adventure Your experience begins with a pickup from Marrakech and a scenic drive to a local Berber women’s cooperative. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber breakfast and learn about the process of producing argan oil. Afterward, we’ll continue to the village of Imlil, nestled in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. From Imlil, we’ll start a guided hike of around 4 hours through mountain landscapes, terraced fields, and Berber villages. Along the way, you’ll discover the culture, traditions, and daily life of the Berber people while enjoying panoramic views. The hike ends in the village of Imoula, where a traditional homemade lunch will be served. After time to relax and enjoy the mountain atmosphere, you’ll spend the night in a charming riad surrounded by nature and a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Ait Ben Haddou & Dades Valley After breakfast in Imlil, we’ll begin our journey toward southern Morocco, driving through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. We’ll make a stop at the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass for a coffee break and to enjoy the panoramic mountain views. We then continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Here, you’ll spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring the ancient kasbah, learning about its history, culture, and its role as a filming location for many international movies and TV series. After the visit, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll continue toward the beautiful Dades Valley, making stops along the way to admire the impressive Monkey Fingers rock formations and the winding curves of the Tisdrine Road. Upon arrival in Dades Valley, you’ll check into a comfortable riad, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner before spending the night.
Day 3: Todgha Gorge & Sahara Desert Experience After breakfast in Dades Valley, we’ll continue our journey toward the Sahara Desert. Our first stop will be in Tinghir, where you’ll visit a local carpet cooperative and learn about traditional Berber weaving techniques. Next, we’ll head to the spectacular Todgha Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls and stunning scenery. You’ll have time to walk through the gorge, take photos, and enjoy the landscape. We then continue to the magnificent Merzouga Desert, where your camel team will be waiting. Enjoy a 1-hour camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, arriving in time for a breathtaking Sahara sunset. After reaching the camp, settle into your luxury desert tent and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. In the evening, gather around the campfire for live Berber music and entertainment under a sky full of stars, creating an unforgettable desert experience.
Day 4: Return to Marrakech After breakfast at the desert camp, you will have a choice between a final camel ride or a 4x4 transfer across the dunes to meet your driver. Then we begin our journey back to Marrakech, enjoying scenic stops along the way before arriving in the afternoon.
