Instead of spending many days on the traditional approach trail, fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and continue to Gorak Shep, then trek to Everest Base Camp and spend the night surrounded by the spectacular Everest landscape.
The adventure continues the next day with a 4–6 hour trek from Everest Base Camp to Lobuche, followed by a scenic helicopter flight back to Kathmandu. Along the way, experience dramatic mountain views, glaciers, Sherpa villages and the unique atmosphere of the Khumbu region.

Your journey begins with a comfortable private transfer from your hotel to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. After completing your airport formalities, board the helicopter for an exciting flight from Kathmandu toward Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. As you leave the city behind, watch the landscape transform from Kathmandu’s busy streets and green hills into dramatic valleys and towering Himalayan peaks. The flight offers a spectacular bird’s-eye view of Nepal’s changing landscapes before approaching Lukla and its famous mountain airstrip. Upon arrival, take a moment to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the incredible surroundings before continuing your journey deeper into the Everest region. After breakfast in Lukla, board the helicopter for an unforgettable flight toward Gorak Shep, the final settlement before Everest Base Camp. As the helicopter climbs higher into the Himalayas, enjoy spectacular views of rugged valleys, glaciers and towering peaks of the Everest region. The approximately 25-minute flight takes you deep into the heart of the Khumbu, offering breathtaking aerial views that would take days to experience on foot. As you approach Gorak Shep, the dramatic Himalayan landscape becomes even more impressive, with snow-covered mountains and rocky high-altitude terrain surrounding the landing area. Upon landing at Gorak Shep, take a short break to prepare for your trek toward Everest Base Camp.

4Everest Base Camp
After landing at Gorak Shep, begin your trek toward the legendary Everest Base Camp at approximately 5,364 meters. The trail takes you through the dramatic Khumbu landscape, with rugged mountain terrain, glacial valleys and spectacular views of some of the world’s highest peaks. The trek takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, depending on your walking pace, weather and trail conditions. Take your time along the route, enjoy the incredible surroundings and capture photographs of the Himalayan scenery. As you reach Everest Base Camp, celebrate the achievement of standing at the foot of the world's highest mountain. Spend time taking photographs, exploring the area and soaking in the extraordinary atmosphere before returning to your accommodation for the overnight stay.

5Lobuche
Leaving Everest Base Camp behind, begin your trek toward Lobuche through the rugged and beautiful landscape of the Khumbu region. The walk takes around 4–6 hours, giving you plenty of time to experience the mountains at your own pace. As you make your way along the trail, you’ll pass through rocky valleys and high-altitude terrain with incredible views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and glaciers. Take short breaks along the way to catch your breath, enjoy the scenery and capture photographs of this unforgettable part of your journey. Reaching Lobuche feels rewarding after the long walk. Take some time to rest, enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere and reflect on your Everest Base Camp experience before meeting the helicopter for your return flight to Kathmandu.

After reaching Lobuche, board the helicopter for your scenic return flight to Kathmandu. Sit back and enjoy one last spectacular view of the Everest region as the towering peaks, glaciers and valleys gradually give way to the green hills and landscapes of Nepal. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer. You will then travel comfortably by private car from the airport to your hotel, giving you time to relax after an unforgettable Himalayan adventure.
