For the option with transfer: meet us at My Dinh Bus Station in Hanoi 15 minutes before the 7:00 am departure and board the sleeper bus to the coffee farm. Our team calls you before the trip to confirm the exact spot. The bus brings you back to My Dinh on day 2.

What to expect

Spend two days on a working coffee farm in Son La, a mountain province in northwest Vietnam and the country's main arabica growing area.

You stay at Phuc Sinh Coffee Farm in Chieng Mung. With a local host and an English-speaking guide, you walk through the arabica and robusta plots, pick ripe cherries with the farmers (in harvest season), plant your own coffee tree and visit the processing area to see how cherries become green beans. Then you roast, grind and brew your own coffee in a hands-on workshop.

In the evening you share a home-cooked dinner and stay overnight in a simple mountain homestay. Breakfast and lunch on day 2 are included before you head back.

Choose how you get there: travel on your own and meet us at the farm at 3:00 pm, or book the option with a return sleeper bus from My Dinh Bus Station in Hanoi, departing at 7:00 am. Shared group of up to 15 travelers; private tours on request.
