This tour brings together some of Kyoto’s most beautiful landscapes on a route that combines temples, nature and spirituality. We will start by visiting Kinkaku-ji, the famous Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple surrounded by gardens that reflect the elegance of the former imperial capital. Then we will go into Arashiyama, where we will walk through its bamboo forest and enjoy its traditional atmosphere. The route continues to Otagi Nenbutsu-ji, a less crowded and very special temple, known for its hundreds of rakan statues, each with a different expression. Accompanied by a guide in Spanish, you will discover must-see places and places with lots of character that show a calmer and authentic face of Kyoto.

In Kinkaku-ji we will visit one of the most iconic temples in Kyoto, famous for its elegant Golden Pavilion reflected over the surrounding pond. We will tour its traditional gardens and learn about the history of this Zen temple, symbol of the refined beauty of the former imperial Japanese capital.
In the Saga-Arashiyama area we will tour one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Kyoto, known for its traditional atmosphere, its natural landscapes and its connection with the ancient Japanese nobility. We will stroll among quiet streets, temples, mountains and charming corners, enjoying one of the most special areas of the city.
On the Togetsukyo Bridge we will enjoy one of the most emblematic landscapes of Arashiyama, overlooking the Katsura River and the mountains surrounding the area. We will walk along this historic bridge, symbol of the neighborhood, as we discover its importance within the traditional image of Kyoto and its special beauty in each season of the year.
In the bamboo forest of Arashiyama we will walk through one of the most photographed and evocative corners of Kyoto. Its tall bamboos create a unique, almost magical atmosphere, where the light, the sound of the wind and the path between the vegetation offer a quiet and very special experience inside the ancient Japanese capital.
In Saga-Toriimoto we will tour one of the best preserved traditional areas of Arashiyama, located on the old road to Mount Atago. Its historic houses, small shops and quiet atmosphere show us a more rural and authentic face of Kyoto, away from the busiest areas, before arriving at the Otagi Nenbutsu-ji temple.
In Otagi Nenbutsu-ji we will visit one of the most unique and tranquil temples in Kyoto, famous for its more than a thousand rakan statues, each with a different expression and personality. Surrounded by nature and far from the busiest areas, this temple offers an intimate, curious and very special experience inside Arashiyama.
