Itinerary

Duration: 10 hours (approximately)
  • Corcovado National Park (Pass by)

    Embark on an early morning adventure from Puerto Jimenez with a 5:30 am departure (meeting point arranged in advance). Travel to Carate, enjoying scenic rainforest views, streams, and possible wildlife sightings along the way. From Carate, begin a guided coastal hike of at least 10 km on mostly flat terrain, with stretches along the beach and crossings of clear rivers and creeks. Your naturalist guide will interpret the region’s rich biodiversity while you take in breathtaking landscapes. Wildlife encounters may include macaws, monkeys, toucans, frogs, snakes, and other rainforest species—so keep your camera ready. This full-day experience offers an immersive look at Corcovado’s ecosystems, combining rainforest and coastline in one unforgettable journey. Return to Puerto Jimenez around 3–4 pm with lasting memories of Costa Rica’s wild beauty.
