Heads up: this is a self-guided, self-drive adventure. We give you the Jeep, the route, the gear, the local tips, and everything you need to explore confidently on your own. No guide in the passenger seat — just you, the open Mojave Desert, and the freedom to move at your own pace.
This is your chance to actually experience Nevada, not just drive past it. Follow a curated route through Cottonwood Valley Road with rugged desert terrain, mountain views, panoramic overlooks, mining history, wildlife, and backcountry scenery that feels straight out of a movie. Keep an eye out for wild burros, desert bighorn sheep, and wide-open Mojave views along the way.
You’ll also make your way to historic Goodsprings and Pioneer Saloon, one of Southern Nevada’s most iconic Old West stops. And yes — if you’re a Fallout: New Vegas fan, this route hits differently. The Goodsprings area brings that real-life Mojave feeling to life without needing to spot a Deathclaw.

Meeting and pickup
This is our office location. We will instruct you on equipment usage and sign waivers here. We will go over the details of the area and where to find wildlife, petroglyphs and an amazing view of the Valley. We will also share the location of a hidden saloon, Fallout fans will surely know.

This is the 4x4 trail you will be using to seeing the desert and all of its glory. From distinct wildlife from wild horses and rams to Native American Petroglyphs this trail boasts it all.

3Pioneer Saloon
This is the famous saloon that has been operating over 100 years in Nevada. Chalked full of history and original interior this saloon is a must see. For fans of fallout and Clark Gable you will be rewarded for your journey.

Feel free to stop by this beautiful art installation or just head back to Vegas on your way from the Pioneer Saloon.
