Turtle Snorkeling in Akumal: An Authentic Local Experience

Your experience begins at our meeting point in Akumal, where you will be greeted by one of our hosts, Alex, who will welcome you and help you with access to the activity. Afterwards, walk to the beach to meet your local guide, who will provide you with the snorkeling equipment and prepare you for the adventure.

Before entering the water, you will receive a brief introduction with the necessary instructions and recommendations to enjoy your experience safely and responsibly.

Once at sea, you will start a guided snorkeling tour of the authorized areas of Akumal Bay. During the experience you will have the opportunity to observe sea turtles in their natural habitat, as well as tropical fish, coral reefs and other marine species that inhabit the crystal clear waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
In addition, we will capture photographs and videos of your experience so you can keep a special memory of this encounter with marine life.

At the end of the tour, you will return to the beach to conclude a unique experience in contact with the nature and marine life of Akumal.
