Enjoy a relaxed private trip from Prague to Pilsen without the rush of large group tours. We’ll pick you up directly at your hotel in a comfortable minivan, handle all logistics, and explore at your pace.

What we’ll do:

Pilsner Urquell Brewery: Tour the active production brewhouse and historic cellars with an official brewery guide, plus taste unfiltered lager straight from oak barrels.

Pilsen Old Town: Walk through the historic center, see St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral, and stop for a good local lunch and coffee.

Your Choice of Sight: Visit either the Great Synagogue or the Patton Memorial museum. (If closed or under renovation, we’ll climb St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral Tower—the highest in the Czech Republic!)

    Pilsner Urquell Brewery

    The highlight of the day! We'll go on a brewery tour where you'll see the brewing technology, an exhibit about beer production and the cellars where you'll get to taste the best beer in the world. At the end there is a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs. We will join the tour at 2:30pm. Admission 380 CZK.

    We'll stop for lunch at one of the restaurants on Republic Square. They offer traditional Czech dishes, but international cuisine is available too. We'll have about 1 hour for lunch (not included in the tour price).

    St Bartholomew's Cathedral

    We'll take a look at the newly renovated gothic cathedral, optionaly you can climb the tower (over 300 steps). The construction of the church dedicated to the patron saint of Pilsen, St. Bartholomew, began with the foundation of the town (1295) and was completed in the early 16th century. In 1993, when Pope John Paul II established a diocese in Plzeň, the Church of St. Bartholomew became a cathedral. Free entry to the church, entrance to the tower is paid (not included, 90 CZK). Opening times: working days 10am-6pm, weekends and holidays 1pm-6pm. Alternatively it is possible to visit the synagogue.

    Decide on the spot: The Patton Memorial offers a moving look at the 1945 U.S. liberation through authentic artifacts. Or visit the Great Synagogue, the world’s third-largest, to admire its stunning architecture. Both landmarks provide a deep, personal connection to the unique history of Pilsen.

    Thank You America Memorial

    "Thank You, America!" Memorial in Pilsen commemorates the liberation of the city by the U.S. Army in May 1945. Located at the intersection of Americká and Klatovská streets, it features two granite pylons shaped like a "V" for victory, symbolizing gratitude toward General Patton’s troops.
