What to expect
We will meet at the community square, where we will gather the group for instructions and begin our tour.
To access the top of Morro Dois Irmãos, we will start with local community transportation by motorcycle taxi (local motorcyclists), an authentic and practical way to reach the starting point.
The trail is approximately 1.6 km (one way), moderate difficulty, with an altitude of 533 meters, and you will be enchanted by one of the most impressive views of Rio. From there, it is possible to contemplate the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon, Christ the Redeemer, Tijuca National Park, Pedra da Gávea, Pedra Bonita, Guanabara Bay, and the city of Niterói, with its mountains in the background.
In addition to its natural beauty, the tour offers direct contact with one of the most authentic settings in the city: the Vidigal favela, a vibrant community built between the sea and the mountains.
