The tour covers about 3.3 miles (5.3 km) roundtrip with 6–9 scenic stops. At each stop, you’ll have an opportunity to snap incredible photos and hear untold stories behind the landmarks around you. Jogging participants will also partake in light exercises at each stop to keep the energy up.
We’ll kick off the tour at the central fountain in Franklin Square Park with a fun icebreaker before the adventure begins. We’ll wrap up right where we started—at the fountain.

Meet in front of the cafe by the fountain, in the middle of Franklin Square Park.
This is where the tour begins. We'll do a brief ice breaker and warm up. We'll learn about the history of Franklin Square Park and its contribution to the city of Philadelphia.
Our first sightseeing rest stop. We will enjoy the view of the large, beautiful clock tower atop St. Augustine's from atop the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. We'll learn a brief history of both St. Augustine's as well as St. George's and their roles in the development of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
As one of the most noticeable buildings when travelling across the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia, we'll view and learn about how this building impacted the United States from the time it was a newly founded nation.
During this rest stop, we'll view and learn about one of the nation's oldest universities and how it first became established.
This is one of many landmarks that we will see and learn about from atop the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. We'll discuss the importance of this ship and how it played a major role during WW2.
