Follow the Nomadic True Path of History — Embark on an unforgettable seasonal adventure through the heart of Kyrgyzstan, available from mid-June to October, and discover the authentic nomadic way of life while traveling through breathtaking mountain landscapes and ancient trails once followed by generations of nomads. Horseback riding through wild nature, enjoy warm local hospitality, and immerse yourself in centuries-old traditions and cultural heritage. Please bring hiking boots, sunscreen, a rain jacket, warm sweater and insulated jacket, gloves, a face mask or buff, a lightweight sleeping bag, tent. As this journey takes place in remote and untouched areas of Kyrgyzstan with limited facilities and mobile coverage, your safety and comfort are our top priorities; therefore, we kindly ask all guests to follow the instructions of our experienced guides throughout the adventure to ensure a safe, memorable, and truly authentic nomadic experience.

    Day 1

    First Glimpse of the Tien Shan

    Kegety Gorge

    Morning pick-up in Bishkek (around 9:00 AM). Drive to Kegety Gorge via Toguz Bulak panoramic viewpoint and visit Kegety Waterfall. Lunch at the yurt camp, followed by archery and free time. Dinner and overnight in the yurt lodge.

    Into the Saddle

    Kegety Gorge

    Meet the horses, prepare luggage, and receive riding instructions. Ride toward Kegety Pass. After about 4 hours (with a picnic break), set up camp. Dinner and overnight in tents. A shorter riding day to help everyone adapt to the horses.

    Crossing the Pass

    Kegety Gorge

    After breakfast, ride across the pass and descend into Koltuk Gorge along rocky trails. Approximately 5 hours of riding with a picnic stop en route. Camp near the river. Dinner and overnight in tents.

    Nomad Highlands

    Continue riding to Sarala-Saz Valley (4–5 hours) with a picnic break. Camp near nomads' summer pastures. Dinner and overnight in tents. Sarala-Saz is a high-mountain jailoo in the Naryn region.

    Across Sook Pass

    After breakfast, ride toward Sook Valley, crossing Sook Pass (3000 m). Picnic on the way. Approximately 5–6 hours of riding. Camp near the Sook River. Dinner, campfire, and overnight in tents.

    Journey to Sary-Kol Lake

    Ride toward Sandyk Valley (4–5 hours) with a picnic stop, then continue to Sary-Kol Lake. Camp near the lake. Dinner and overnight in tents.

    Wild Valley Adventure

    Descend to Oktorkoi Valley (5–6 hours). Picnic near the river and spruce forest. Continue to the end of the valley near Doskulu village. Camp near winter pastures. Dinner and overnight in tents.

    Return to the Yurts

    After breakfast, ride to Kilemche Valley. Lunch en route. Arrival in the afternoon. From this day, overnight stays are in yurts. Dinner and overnight in a yurt.

    Song-Kol Escape

    Son Kul Lake

    Ride to Song-Kol Lake (around 4 hours). Arrival at a yurt camp on the lake's shore. Lunch with a nomadic family and free time to relax or swim. Dinner and overnight in a yurt.

    Farewell Adventure

    Son Kul Lake

    After breakfast, ride to Kyzart Village via Kara-Kiya Pass (3400 m), approximately 4 hours. Lunch at a local house. Drive back to Bishkek (around 4 hours). Drop-off at the hotel. End of the tour. Every day we start around 10 am after packing all our equipment and have lunch around 1 pm. And ride until around 5 pm. First and last three days we ride little bit shorter to enjoy the free time.
