Turkish Paper Marbling is an important part of the traditional and historical arts. We are pretty sure that there are great Marbling workshops in Istanbul. What makes us different is bringing this unique experience together with Turkish home hospitality. Having the experience held at a calm central home with warm vibes would let the connection between the instructor and the guests to be a real bond. What to expect
First of all, I will tell you the history and importance of Ebru (Turkish paper marble art) and explain why it is on UNESCO's world cultural heritage list. Next, I will give you brief information about the tools we will use and show you some demonstrations of the different types of marbling.
After seeing the demonstrations, we will focus on seeing different techniques so that you can create traditional or modern patterns with your creativity.
Once you have created your artworks, we will let them dry and discuss the works while drinking Turkish tea. I will show and tell you as much about Turkish culture as possible so that you can have both a Turkish friend and a Marbling Instructor.
